Guida Loaf

Serves 8

 
1 package bread dough (frozen, prepared)
4 ounces pepperoni sausage (cut into slices)
8 ounces Italian sausage
8 ounces mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1/2  cup Romano cheese (grated)
8 ounces Swiss cheese (shredded)
Italian seasoning (to taste)
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 whole egg
 
 
Defrost the prepared, frozen bread dough in accordance to the instuctions.  Place in large bowl and coat lightly the dough with olive oil.  Set aside to rise (double in size) and out of drafts.

After dough has risen, work into a greased 9x13-inch jellyroll pan (hands coated with olive oil is a must!).

Saute the Italian sausage loose and drain well on paper towel surface.  Set aside.  Place the thinly cut slices on the dough (best to cut the slices pepperoni in halves)  Add the sausage and shredded cheeses.  Pat ingrediants down gently.  Roll and brush with a beated egg.  Sprinkle with poppy seeds or other garnish.  Bake at 350 degrees F for about 18 minutes or until golden brown.
